Rebates, cashback and rescue bonuses
Three promotion types on the sites we track return money after you have played:
- Rollover or turnover rebate. A percentage of everything you bet, paid daily or weekly, win or lose. Crikey7, Dinkum33, Gdaymate9, Spacecraft9, BX77 and RipperBets run one.
- Cashback or betting cashback. A percentage of net losses over a period. Dinkum33 pairs a 5% daily rebate with 0.5% betting cashback.
- Rescue or compensate bonus. A fixed or percentage credit paid when a session or a day ends in a loss. Bonza7 runs three tiers; Predator9 and Gdaymate9 run an “unlimited instant rescue”; Decho34 and BX77 call theirs “compensate”.

Why regular players should prefer rebates
A welcome bonus is a one-off. A rebate pays every day you play. On the sites we track the rebate itself normally has no cash-out cap and either no turnover or a 1x turnover, which makes it the cleanest promotion available. If you play several times a week, a 1% to 5% rebate is worth more over a quarter than any welcome bonus on this list.
Check three things: which games qualify (pokies almost always, live and sports sometimes), when it is paid (daily rebates usually land the next morning), and whether you must claim it manually. Several sites require a claim in the promotions tab each day; unclaimed rebate lapses.
Rescue bonuses: read the small print
A rescue bonus looks like cashback but is usually paid as bonus credit with its own turnover requirement, often higher than the welcome bonus. It also tends to require a minimum loss and a minimum deposit in the same period. Treat it as a small consolation rather than as insurance.
Most operators exclude rebates when a deposit bonus is active on the same deposit, and several exclude accounts with any open bonus from the daily rebate. If rebates are your main reason to play at a site, consider depositing without the welcome bonus so the rebate applies from day one.
